Sustainable Energy and De-carbonization
Strategies for decarbonizing fossil-based energy systems and for increasing the contribution of renewable energy systems to the national energy strategy constitute a major focus of this Thematic Group. Improving the technology of renewables and promoting their access to rural communities, especially in driving agricultural machines,is an important thrust of the work of this Group. Activities in this Thematic Group are consistent with SDG 7
